Warehousing and Packaging

The Saribar Transport Group undertakes all operations related to unloading, loading, storage, packaging, selection, and consolidation of goods for dispatch and delivery of required items for individuals and businesses in its own warehouses under proper conditions—from the moment of receipt until final delivery. To better understand this process, let us review the concept of warehousing:

Warehousing:

A warehouse is a place or space where one or more types of commercial, industrial, raw material, or various processed goods are organized and classified according to a proper system. All actions and tasks that must be performed from the time of receiving the goods until their delivery to the requester (consumer) are referred to as the warehousing process. The warehousing process includes receiving the goods, storing them, and delivering them in a professional manner to ensure the goods are handed over to the requester without any damage. A professional warehouse keeper is someone who, by following storage principles and with minimal time and under the best conditions, delivers the goods from the warehouse to the required person or requester.

Packaging:

Packaging is one of the most sensitive and at the same time, the most decisive stages of product distribution, consumption, and transportation. Its importance is such that it can even affect the quality and content of certain materials. Proper and standard packaging plays a vital role in the efficient transportation of goods. High-quality materials used in packaging, along with functional and appropriately sized packaging, help reduce transportation costs. These mentioned features help save time, ease loading, make optimal use of vehicle space, and speed up cargo transportation. Products with standard packaging are protected from damage during handling and transport.
Packaging of export goods using cartons, boxes, crates, barrels, sacks, bales, etc., is of great importance.

General Conditions for Proper Packaging
1. The packaging must be suitable for transportation.
2. The packaging must allow for loading and unloading.
3. The packaging must have sufficient durability for storage in warehouses or customs over time.
4. The packaging must protect the goods from spillage and prevent loss of items.
